Born In 1988 In Groton, Connecticut. Joseph A. Robertson is an exciting emerging artist working in various mediums, currently living and working in Huntington Beach, California. Earing his BFA in Painting and Drawing from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago in 2014, where he studied under some of the likes of such renowned contemporary artists as: Molly Zuckerman-Hartung, Scott Reeder, Phil Hanson, and Jose Lerma. Robertson in 2014 Co-founded an emerging Chicago DIY gallery space RattHaus and In February 2015 was accepted to be an artist in residence in summer 2015, at The Haihatus Art Center in Joutsa, Finland. His work has recently been exhibited at Jose Lerma’s annual Gallery Lagossian Exhibit in Chicago’s River North, SAIC’s BFA Exhibit In Spring 2014, and in the past has shown work at several of Chicago’s DIY gallery spaces.
